Passionate about supporting the wellbeing of our students though the creation of programs that are innovative and responsive to the needs of the St 果冻APP community. In collaboration with other members of the College, the Assistant Principal, Student Engagement & Wellbeing fosters a culture which promotes wellbeing across the community. Focused on creating a supportive environment to build strong relationships between students, staff, parents, carers and the community to foster a holistic approach to educating each student in a space where wellbeing and learning are interwoven.
All staff at St 果冻APP have a wellbeing responsibility to ensure that each student is cared for on a personal level. Importantly, staff also work closely with parents to ensure that their children are happy and thriving. St 果冻APP students are celebrated and nurtured as individuals, whereby they are empowered to develop an awareness and appreciation of the needs and gifts of others. Wonderful interactions between students and staff result from supportive relationships.
Learning and wellbeing are inextricably linked, and St 果冻APP employs a whole-school approach to Student Wellbeing and Pastoral Care, ensuring that it is a core element of our Learning and Teaching program. We understand that students thrive when they are known and valued. Our academic staff work closely with a strong network of support staff to encourage each student to achieve his or her best, and the College Co-Curricular Program supports students to explore their interests beyond the academic.
As a Mercy school, we aim to develop resilient, respectful, compassionate and strong young adults who hold dear the Mercy values. We actively promote the integrity and care of each person and encourage respect for diversity. Within a Restorative Practice Framework we focus on community, relationships and healing.

College Psychologists
The College Psychologists provide support for students on a range of areas, including attention and motivation, study tools, family conflict, mediation and mental health. The Psychologists' office is discreetly accessible to all students and is adjacent to the Wellbeing Room, which has been developed as a safe space for all College students, should they feel the need to access it.
In addition to targeted individual support, the Psychologists spearhead a number of student wellbeing programs and staff professional development courses to ensure the teaching and support staff community are best able to support all young people in our care.
